With these short time slots each day motivation, joy and wellness can thrive for you.

The beauty of 10 minutes - not too much time that is is impossible to find yet 10 minutes can give back so much.
Whatever you choose to focus on in that 10 minutes is enough for progress to start to shine through for you.
Here are 7 easy steps to activating and making those 10 minutes work for you:
Where shall you catch that 10 minutes? Are you a morning early to riser, a midway in the day bod or a get busy in the evening person or can you grab it as and when?
What is your goal, doesn't have to be the same every day; go all in and focus on just 1 or you can rotate it to have up to 7 different things you want to do in a week.
Set your intentions of how you want it to make you feel. Allow yourself time to recognise where you will feel it in your body. Is that 10 minute walk in the great outdoors going to clear your head, or energise you putting a spring in your step? Is that 10 minutes of kettle bell squats going to make you feel proud and proactive deep in your heart or allow you to feel progress and comfortable in your skin?
Why do you want to do this 10 minute activity, be prepared to have some fun and explore deeper. Honouring that deeper why can be so rewarding and support consistency. Repeat why several times and it will unlock your true wishes.
Give a few moments to work out any 'obstacles' that may get in the way so you can successfully navigate around them. Be prepared-have the right clothing or equipment ready, an undisturbed space, someway of having the children, significant other or dog in a situation where you are not needed for 10 minutes.
Use the gift of imagination to vision how having this 10 minutes will improve things for you, how it will make you feel. The key is to how it will make you feel each and every time you commit 10 minutes. That way you catch those feelings live in the moment. Yes the long term success can grow however; gift yourself the joy of the now.
Celebrate having completed your 10 minutes, whether that is doodling, crafting, singing, playing an instrument, reading, working out, walking, meditating or skin care. Give yourself a few moments to mentally celebrate you gave yourself that 10 minutes. Recognise where the motivation has come from, what the joy has been and how it adds to your unique sense of you and your wellness.
This should be all about you, even if you decide to do 10 minutes of activity with others, So what is in it for you? See if you can complete these sentences before and after the activity.

Bringing in the maths - the beauty of 10 mins a day is that 10 minutes can be in one hit, 2 lots of 5, 5 lots of 2 or 10 lots of 1. You will be surprised how committed time if only for 1 minute, 2 or 5 minutes can start sometime positive and new.
I introduced 5 mins of kettle bells twice a day and removing the pressure of not having enough time has given me the committed concentration and strangely the results are far better than the longer workouts where I would become bored and unfocused.
1 minute of doodling through out the day can re-ignite your creative side, 10 mins of daydreaming with a cuppa when meditation or the yoga matt is not nearby can bring calm or a few minutes singing along to a favourite song can give you a voice.
What will your 10 minutes be ?
