To effectively support others, we must first ensure our own energy reserves are topped up. This means being mindful of what we consume, prioritizing nourishing foods and drinks, and incorporating rest and movement into our routines.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing simple and quick energy-boosting foods that can give us that extra bit of "va va voom."
One of my go-to energy drinks is a homemade concoction that’s both easy and affordable. I mix 1/3 glass of orange juice with 2/3 water and add a tiny pinch of high-quality sea salt. This drink has made a noticeable difference for me!
The combination not only hydrates but also slows gastric emptying due to the larger particles in the mixture, which means I don’t have to rush to the restroom as often. Previously, I found myself avoiding water because I had so much to do. Now, I feel well-hydrated—like a flourishing houseplant instead of the dried-up spider plant I neglected!
Stay tuned for more tips on how to keep your energy levels up while supporting those around you!
